An interesting start to this years Newquay Championships see’s crews going home having not compete. The high swells rolling in as the tide dropped stopped crews from accessing the harbour safely. Crews caught out had to one by one feed into the harbour with the assistance of the RNLI and umpires, other crews had to “beach” the boats in breaking waves.
