Charlestown Gig Club Charlestown Regatta Charlestown Rowing RaceCharlestown had a very successful event last Saturday, with almost perfect weather and rowing conditions.
Both Ladies races were won by Caradon who narrowly pipped our “home” crews into second place each time!
Par was victorious in both the Mens A & B races and Padstow’s youngsters romped home to win the Under 14′s.
The “Overall” honours however went to Mounts Bay who won the Under 16s, the Mixed and the Vets!
Congratulations to everyone that took part no matter where they came!
Thanks to all the clubs that attended, and made such a good days racing, and apologies to all those we couldn’t accommodate.

Interesting take on events there…more like Caradon romped home in the Ladies and Padstow pipped Looe in the U14s!!
Good event though.
