Good Friday River Race :: Results & Pics

Weather for the Good Friday River Race organised by Penryn Rowing Club could not have been better with a light west / north west breeze and patchy cloud.  The race started of Mylor and followed the deep sided river Fal North to the cathedral city of Truro.

Over 14 Gigs and a range of other craft from kyaks to flash boats set of from Mylor.

Gig Results

1st: Speedwell (Rock)
2nd: Pinnacle (Flushing & Mylor)
3rd: Merthen (Helford)

    Hi, Have you any idea when the remaining results for the Good Friday race will be posted?

    hi just wondering if there were also any pics of Bryanek? light blue st agnes boat..mixed vets.. we started on our own? at 5pm? (not sure why we were on our own…?) thanks x

      Hi Caroline, will be back later tonight I will take a look if not will have a look tomorrow, was not able to overtake as I didnt want to create wash for rowers so had to stick to back of the pack but will have a look for you. Cheers Toby

    Great pics of the Good friday race. Just wandering if you had any of the our Newquay crew in the `FLY ` from the day. If so any chance of putting them on here or sending them to robcustomsteel@btinternet.com There would be a couple of pints for you if you could. Cheers.
