Calstock Rowing Club will be launching their new Gig “The Cream of Cornwall” on Friday 30 April 2010 at 14:00hrs on St Mary’s.
The Club has been sponsored by Roddas Clotted Cream for the build of their new Gig.
The Cream of Cornwall is having a blessing by the local vicar and Nicholas Rodda will be there to launch her.
She has been built by Brian Nobbs.
Steve Gentry, Calstock Rowing Club Chairman says, it’s fantastic that a traditional Cornish family business has recognised that Gig rowing is a growing sport in the region, and he hopes it will encourage more businesses in the county to support the sport.

I was hoping to arrange delivery of Cornish Cream by post and when I saw the name Roddas I remembered that was my previous supplies. Terribly disappointed that there was no mention of cream
