Are you up for it?

After the huge success of the GR20 (20 Gig Clubs, 2 Days and 180 miles) the idea came up for the GR300 (300 miles, 4 days and all the 27 Gig Clubs in Cornwall) but it got chucked in a drawer, that is until we got the text from Tommy about the Shelterboxes on a plane to Haiti that were paid for by the GR20 sponsorship (See article here) and we got thinking …

The Date

October 2010 :: There was a plan to have it in the spring but we don’t have the time so we are planning to do it after Newquay before the days get to short.  (This will replace last years GR20)

The Cost

This goes towards costs incurred to run the event and any left over money goes to Shelterbox. To see the GR20 accounts click here.

Full four days: £95 (Includes: 3 nights accommodation (Inc bed, sheets & pillow), Breakfast (Porridge, toast and cereal), Evening meal (Pasta feast with pudding and custard, pos pub meal sat night), Transport for your bag each day, Support vehicle, Insurance & T-Shirt)

Just the weekend (For Colin & his lady friends): £60 (Includes: 2 nights accommodation (Fri & Sat & inc bed, sheets & pillow), Breakfast (Porridge, toast and cereal), Evening meal (Pasta feast with pudding and custard, pos pub meal sat night), Transport for your bag each day, Support vehicle, Insurance, T-Shirt & Transport from finish to Penzance on Sat am)

Finally

This event is all about raising money for Shelterbox and we will be looking for a minimum sponsorship pledge or donation.  If like us you sat on the sofa watching the news on Heiti and wanted to help then here is a chance to get involved.  All the boxes that we buy will be tracked and we will keep you updated on who they help.
