CORNWALL SCHOOL GAMES GIG ROWING EVENT – Link to a school!

On June 22nd 2012 all secondary schools in Cornwall will come together for an Olympic style multi sports festival at Newquay – The Cornwall School Games!

This will include the chance to compete in a gig rowing event – to be run from Newquay harbour.

In order to promote club-school links, schools are asked to enter a team, supported by their local rowing club.

Schools will provide the transport, teacher support, etc and it is hoped that clubs will provide a coxswain and possibly offer some pre-event training!

Categories are:

YEAR 7-9 Girls, YEAR 7-9 Open, YEAR 10+11 Girls, YEAR 10+11 Open
