SWANAGE ARE MISSING AN OAR!!
Please could you post a notice on website for Swanage.
We think a club has accidentally taken one of oars back from Newquay yesterday:
Ladies Sutton Macon Oar – No 1. Red tape either side of the leathers and a black number 1 stuck on.
The oars were leant against the harbour wall near where the Kelly’s Ice Cream Van was parked. We used the oar for the Quarter Final and it went missing between then and the Semi Finals.
We’d be really grateful if clubs could check their oars to see if they have an extra!

A single oar was found (I think late on Sunday) and was placed in the Newquay boat shed where all the other Newquay oars are located. Worth talking to someone from Newquay rowing club as that may well be your missing oar. It was put in the rafters above where the tea ladies were serving teas.
