Parking and Photos at Newquay

The owner of the privately owned Tower Road Car Park has kindly agreed a concessionary rate for parking of £4 per day or £6 for the two days (normal rate £5 per day).  This car park is next to the Belmont Car Park which most of you will be familiar with.  As you come into Newquay,  carry straight on down Tower Road towards Fistral Beach, rather than turning right toward the harbour.  Tower Road Car Park is on your left, by the Mini Golf before you get to the mini roundabout and Red Lion pub.  You will need to ask in the Cafe/Mini Golf for a special ticket and tell them that you are here for the rowing to get the concessionary rate.

Phil Bunt from Cornwall Photos will be following the races taking action shots of the races and goings on again this year.  You can call into the PSA (Fisherman’s chapel next to the lifeboat house) to view the photos online and purchase any you wish or you can purchase afterwards at www.cornwall-photos.co.uk.  A percentage of the proceeds goes to NRC’s fundraising committee.
