Quick message to say look out for Hayle Gig Club, as we are (weather permitting!) embarking on a row from Sennen to Scillies on the 9th July! We have a squad of 10, along with a support boat travelling alongside us. It’s the first time we’ve attempted anything like this as a club, so we’ll see how it goes. If anyone is sailing / flying over on that Friday, give us a wave!

There’s a chance that we could combine, as a Senior (over 60)crew and a Junior(16yrs old)crew were anticipating doing a crossing AND return the following day, setting off on Fri. 16th., but have had to postpone too. Our alternative dates are the following two weekends in July.

Thanks for the interest!! Sadly the forecast has changed drastically and it’s been called off
however….
Persistance overcomes resistance! so we will set up another few dates and try for that! Ill keep it posted,
